To eat or not to eat?

Christmas and Carnival are not very far apart this year. The Trinidad Carnival Diary blogger so sweetly reminded us on a recent Facebook post that we have two paychecks left until the best couple days of the year, so she hopes we asked for fete tickets for Christmas. When you have many a Christmas party to attend, and many a gift to buy, (because Christmas gifts are no longer just for children) weddings to dress for and wedding gifts to pay for, bachelor and bachelorette parties with champagne to splurge on, wedges for cooler fetes, decorations for your home, hams and pastelles, (Sounds like a whole new "12 Days of Christmas " song) you have to ask yourself about sacrifices. I have decided to stop buying food. Like Kublalsingh, I would get nice and skinny, so I can skimp on pre-carnival gym fees too! It's a two for one. Saving money on eating would allow me to have the extra cash to spend on outfits, because those are real priorities.

By the way. This is a joke. I'm being sarcastic. Don't starve. Re-wear your clothes. Eat by your auntie.
